LINDEN IS 2!

Linden is 2 years old!!! I can hardly believe this as I type. The past 2 years have been 2 of the best years of mine and Stephens life.  I am so proud to say that I am his mom.  Linden has learned so much in the past two years and I thank everyone who had an impact on that.  Linden is very entergetic and loving, he knows how and when to say please and thank you.  Linden is very smart for his age as he is already starting the potty training process and saying his name and counting. 

For Linden's birthday we ate steaks with some friends and then took him to Chick-fil-a with his little friend Hannah.  He and Hannah played on the play ground and enjoyed ice cream.  This weekend we will have Linden's birthday party and it will be baseball themed.  He is all about any type of ball but his favorite is a bat and a baseball.  I wish he was old enough to play tee ball becuase he would be out there hitting home runs.  I will be posting pictures of his party hopefully on Monday. 

Sister's Loving

There is nothing like a sister's loving.  I am sure this can branch out to siblings but I only have 1 sister and man I love her!  This past weekend my little family took a 3 hour trip to see her and her family!  I love when we are able to do that and it doesnt happen NEARLY as often as it should.  This past weekend was packed to the gills with tons of fun stuff!  I will attempt to post pictures of all of our fun at the end.  Friday Stephen got off around 3 and I left work about the same time to go get Linden.  We were planning to leave then so we would get there at a decent hour but we can't ever do anything on time for some reason.  We left around 4-4:30 and the ride was pretty long.  Linden is not a good rider just for 20 minutes much less 3 hours. I do not know what it is but he HATES to ride.  We had his DVD player on but he just isn't really into the TV.  ANYWAY, Stephen ended up in the back seat and about 30 minutes from Madison we stopped to get Linden something to eat.  He got much better after that.  We met sister at Walmart in Madison where she was buying a scarecrow to add to her fall decor.  We then went to a Mexican the best MY FAVORITE!  Linden was done with being out after than so the boys took him home and got him ready for bed and Emily and I delivered some cookies to a friend.  Once we got home all of the kids and boys were asleep so we carved some pumpkins so we could put the girls in them.  I am NOT very good with a knife so this was very comical!  I made the leg holes too little and then we had to go back and fix it.  I then noticed the moon was so pretty in Emily's back yard so we had a photo snapping time.  Off to bed we went becuase we knew we had a VERY busy day on Saturday.  Saturday we were up BRIGHT and early because Hayden thought it was time to scream her not so little lungs out.  That was so fun because we got up and go moving and could play before the day started.  We went to eat for lunch and then to an IVF thing for the girls, we didnt stay there long but then off to the FAIR!! Linden loved it!  They didnt have many rides for him but he still had fun.  He didn't want to get off of any ride we got on.  I think his Favorite was the HUGE slide.  We then went home because it was FREEZING and everyone was getting hungry.  We ordered in Japenese and while the men went to get that we did the photo shoot with the pumpkins.  To get the girls in them was much of a challenge and to get them out was even worse but how do you make them happy in them? HOW KNOWS! THEY HATED IT!  We finially got them out and Linden so seriously says, MY TURN! so i take the girls inside and him and Auntie EM have photo shoot time.  We then got the kids cleaned up and off to bed.  Sunday was a very short but sweet day there.  Linden loves his cousins.  I can't wait until we are able to go back but am def. looking forward to when they come here for the Mississippi State game.  I am going to have to teach Emily to say "ROLL TIDE"  That weekend will just be an ADULT weekend and although i will miss all of the kids being there i will enjoy this time as well.

Linden is 20 months!

I know I told ya'll that I would be better but lets be honest, i wasn't. 
I really want to do this so one day Linden can look back at this and not have to wonder when he did things or how sweet he really was!

Linden is 20 months old! ya'll, that is 4 months away from being 2!!!! People will often say, don't you miss him being a new born?  Yes, and NO... he is so sweet and just so much fun!  Linden is very smart for his age i think.  He like any other 20 month old will repeat almost everything you say.  He is into everything and is def. ALL BOY!

Linden can still wear some 18month shirts but also has several 24 month shirts.  He is so small in his waste but is tall.  We are going to have a tough time getting pants to fit.

Stephen and I are so blessed with a loving little boy :)

Band Wagon

So I tried about a year and a half ago to get on this Blogging Band Wagon and somehow got too busy to ever post. So I am going to try again.
Linden is now 13 months old!
Linden has been such a blessing in our life! Linden is now a walker!
Linden began crawling when he was about 6 months old and almost the next day began pulling up so we thought for sure he would be walking in no time! He took his precious time and started walking about a week after his first birthday. He is nearly running now :)

We are now waiting on 2 precious little girls, nieces/cousins. Their names will be Addison Ray and Hayden Banes. They will be here Feb. 20th or BEFORE! This auntie Madz is excited!
I promise to try to update atleast once a week and I will try to put a picture on each blog

June 2011

I have been slacking in blog world. What can I say, I have a 6 month old, give me a break! So since I wrote last we have had a precious baby! He was born on January 3 2011 at 1:30pm. He weighed 6 lbs 13 oz. He is PRECIOUS! He is now eating baby food and that is so much fun! He HATES carrots and prunes. Now that we have started baby food he isnt as crazy about his bottles I know that this is or could potentially be a problem. We just took our first family vacation and Linden was a great rider! He was so excited to see auntie em. We went to Destin FL and it was about a 5-5 1/2 hour drive and we didn't stop once! We had a blast and Linden LOVED the water! We didn't want to leave Auntie Em or Uncle D. This coming weekend is the forth and we will be spending it with GRAN AND POPPIE AND AUNTIE EM AND UNCLE D on the WATER!! I will try my best to post pictures after the 4th.

SLACKER!!!!

Sorry I have been slacking so much! I haven't really had a spare second to post something new!

We have had a fabulous past month or two. We found out that we're having a BABY BOY!! Sweet little Linden will grace us with his presence around January 16, 2010 Stephen and I can't wait!
We went and got furniture last weekend, I ordered baby bedding on Tuesday and as soon as it gets in we will begin painting!

Alabama football starts this weekend and then we are working a half day on Monday so hopefully I will get some rest on Sunday! I hope everyone has had a good past couple of months! dont lose faith in me blogging i will continue!

Weekend work

Welp.. This is one of Stephen's weekends to work and boy do I HaTE it!! He has to work 11p-11a and so when he isn't at work he's asleep... bless his heart. The good news is that he's on days next week!!

This past week wasn't too long. Wednesday we got good news and then Thursday I left 1hour early from work so I could spend some time with Stephen at the hunting camp. We got down there about 5:30 and went fishing and put out the camera and just rode around! It was a ton of fun but let me tell you, RED BUGS are no fun!!! This is my first experience but I HATE them!

Next week will probably go by fast and then Friday we are M-town bound for the weekend of the 4th with the family! Ready for a nice weekend out on the lake and for a Monday off. I will probably clean and get a nap with my hubby on Monday!
